Thanks for looking for the book. It's a children's fiction book probably for
middle school aged children. It's told in the first person from the main
character Emily. She is the younger sister and her older brother dies in a
lawn mowing accident. She blames herself for the death and eventually ends up
in therapy. Anyway I remember an elementary school teacher reading the book to
my class and I wanted to read it. I o it was published in 1981 by Harcourt.
The author is Patricia Hermes.
