I use my BrailleNote in its case while standing and have had no problems with it accidentally falling out. For added convenience, I purchased two zippered cases -- one for my GPS receiver and the other for the adaptor. Both cases go into my backpack. This way, the GPS receiver and adaptor are safely protected and can be easily retrieved when needed.
