Josh, try this for German and Spanish accents. 1. Go into appropriate computer table with spacebar and dots three and four.
2. Set "Display computer braille using" to eight-dot. 3. Options menu, k, "Use six- or eight-dot braille?" Choose eight-dot. 4. When at top of document, set text document reading grade to eight-dot. 5. Go into keyboard voice mode and select s for SPELL. 6. If, for example, you are using German, and want to write an o umlaut, press the o w sign and the ENTER key together, and you might be lucky, or just press the o w sign and see what happens. Either way, you will be told what's going on as you'll be in SPELL mode, only temporarily, I hasten to add. I know that for French accents in the French computer table, you have to press the ENTER key with all circumflex accents, as the c h, g h, s h group of signs are used for numbers when pressed by themselves. I do hope this helps. Warm regards, Jim Taylor.
