Hi, everyone. I came across something interesting in the manual last night
while reading about the bookreader.
It was talking about how there was only 16 mb on the braille note, but that
one could upgrade to 48 mb or larger.
I took interest in the or larger phrase. I don't think we have ever been
able to upgrade to larger than the 48 mb. Otherwise, I would have probably
done so.
I thought it was kind of odd.
Another interesting observation:
If you pay the 425 dollars to get that 48 mb, all you end up with is 48 mb.
This is kind of odd because, what happens to that 16 mb that was already on
the board? You would have thought you would pay 425 dollars for the 48 mb
upgrade but that you would get to keep your 16 making it 64 mb.
So, in effect, that 425 dollars only buys you 32 mb since you had 16 mb anyway.
There is something to think about when you are lying awake at night<grin>.
