Hi Audley, You must set the option of waiting for the dialtone to NO when using your cell phone. From the main menu, hit e to enter keymail. Next hit s for the setup options. From there, hit d to enter your directory of services, and l to look up a service. Select the service that goes along with your cell phone. Next, press space (down arrow) until you get to the option "wait for dailtone". Make sure this is set to no, because, with a cell phone, there is no dialtone. HTH, Laura
