Hi all and pdi wonder if anyone can give some info on the progress on the gps maps problem in the uk. I am a big user of gps as I am a piano tuner. last Monday evening I was tuning in Cambridge and had a real job finding my last call. the tuning was at Ashmead drive in hardwick south Cambridgeshire. When leaving my next to last call I put in a search for cambridge and it brings a huge list of places. Lowe and behold hardwick was there grate but when I put the street name no streets were found. after several trys I pressed the apropriate key for a list of all streets in hardwick and it said no streets found. eventually when we located the road when I pressed letter x it told me I was on ashmead drive. I oviously put in a point of interest at the house but it is very anoying when this happens. As Don Cooper said the concept of what gps could be for us with the braille note is amazing but soon another device will come out and we will all purchase it e.g. gps on the nokia 3650 maybe.
