Hi all,

No, web site and URL are not the same thing. The URL (Uniform
Resource Locator) is the web address of the web page, e.g.:

http://home.eznet.net/~akp

An URL is also the actual address of a linked page within a web page
as well. It is the set of letters and sometimes numbers which calls
up the web page that is linked to the one you are currently viewing,
e.g.:

http://home.eznet.net/~akp/bio.html

So that when you choose a link, you are activating the command to take
you to the URL indicated.

The web page is the actual page/screen of information that is brought
up on your computer when you type in the URL. Some people use these
terms interchangibly.
