Hi Riana,
In that particular post, Paul had been referring to how fast he should have set 
up his Serial Port settings for, I believe, his cell phone to his BrailleNote, 
so he could use his cell to go online wirelessly.  He was saying 19,200 bits, 
but this didn't have to do with the internal modem of the BN.  It had to do 
with the speed of communication between his cell phone, which would act as an 
external modem, and his BN.  The BN's 56K modem should operate at about double 
speed from your 28.8K, if I'm understanding your speeds correctly.  HTH.
