Hi,

After my last post on this and several comments saying it couldn't be done, I
decided to give it another try with window eyes since that's the screen reader
with which I'm most familiar.

I tried to define the letter f on the bn keyboard. Note that I have a qt
keyboard here. Pressing the letter f on the qwerty keyboard did not work for
me, but
when I pressed the braille input which is a combination of the qwerty letters f
d and j I was able to define that in such a way as to produce the letter f on
the
pc.

I'm not sure I would want to define all letters this way and I'm not sure if
all letters would really work, but at least the principle works.

So, if you are trying this with a qt keyboard, try using the keyboard in
braille input mode and see what happens.

I did have a braille keyboard on my bn at one time and I'm almost certain I was
able to get letters to show up on the pc by defining them in the hot keys menu
of window eyes.

I'm sorry, I really don't know jfw and its keyboard manager well enough to try
it there.

As I said before, it's quite tedious as you'd have to do it for every character
you wanted to be able to input, but I suppose if you had the patience you
could.
