Yes, you do choose the hayes compatible modem for use with the cell
phone. And then you complete the fields:

Service name; hayes compatible modem; service phone number; service
user name; pop server and smpt server

If it is a direction connection to your service provider and not from a
network the remaining fields can be skipped.

Subject: [Braillenote] setting up for a cell phone

Hi, Everyone.
I have the serial cable that will connect my bn to my cell phone. What
do
iI need to do now?
I assume I set up a dialup for a serial device and not a hayes
compatible
serial modem, but what else do I need to be aware of?
Thanks.
