Ya I used to try microsoft active sink 3.5, with the newest version of
active sink it works fine.

In the ActiveSync get connected screen, there is a combo box that allows you
to specify the serial port on which ActiveSync will look for a connection.
You will need to be sure this is set correctly because, at least on my
serial to USB adaptor, a virtual serial port is created by the adaptor.
