I'd just like to comment that yesterday and over the weekend I scanned some books using finereader7 and jaws and put them on my braillenote. The scans came out perfect. And it's so nice to be able to search through a biology lab packet and find what I'm looking for almost right away. Finereader7 does a good job at scanning, and the braille note is a good PDA to put books on and read them. Also, here's a tip for you people who use activesync like I do. I kept getting kicked off activesync while trying to transfer very big files. I went into the braillenote and changed the activesync serial port to hserial h-serial at 15,200 baud rate. Then I went into windows control panel on the desktop control panel, system, device, com1 properties and changed the baud rate to 15,200 parody none 8 data bits one stop bits and no handshaking.
And that one meg file transfered almost in a flash! Also, I was told that I'd need a cross-over cable to transfer files using activesync through ethernet. that I can't connect the low power ethernet card from socket directly into my computer's ethernet card. Is this true? Josh
