Hi Mike, Thanks for coming on list and introducing yourself.
I've been using a braillenote since the end of 2000 and really love the thing. I'm really looking forward to the new things I'm sure are coming up later this year. I'm sure you have other things to do besides monitor this list <grin>, but hope we'll hear from you regularly if you have the chance. By now I am sure you have read the PDH press release announcing my appointment as Blindness Product Specialist. I am filling Larry Lewis's old position. I have worked as an assistive Technology Trainer for the last seven years. I have seen the technology change dramatically over that time. Recently I have worked at the Colorado Center for the Blind as a technology instructor and network administrator. I have been a BrailleNote user for the last 3 years. I love the portability and ease of use of the device. Like you I have a lot of ideas to help the BrailleNote improve and evolve. I look forward to talking with all of you in the future to further improve the success of the BrailleNote. Please feel free to contact me anytime. for those of you attending CSUN I will be there so come by the booth and say hello.
