Hi Jen,
I personally have a BT, but I can offer a suggestion which might work. The f d
and s keys on the QT seem to correspond with the dots 1 2 and 3 keys on the BT
respectively (at least that's the way it worked out when I did Braille input
using my PC and Duxbury). I'm also led to believe this because it said in a
Readme file which had both BT and QT commands that a reset with dots 1 through
3 held down was equivalent to a reset with f d and s held down. The two models
seem to have somewhat a similar command structure (again I'm only inferring
this from files which have had commands for both), I think the dot 3 would
correspond with the s key. Remember, I'm not at all familiar with the
BrailleNote QT, but this command just seems to make sense if the commands
follow the same pattern. I think holding down the s key while switching on
might work. In my User Guide, the info on how to start-up the BT with speech
only, Braille only, or both was covered in section 1.15.3 which was called
"Start-Up Braille and Speech Mode". In the QT, the section would most likely
have the same title, and I would guess the number of the section was close to
the BT. Someone who had a QT would be able to help you much more, but I hope
this helps in any way.
Maria
