Hi, Diane, Do you want to remove all the capital signs from a braille document? If that's what you want to do, here's the quickest, easiest and safest way to do it.
Suppose you have a text document which you translated into braille and found that much of the document was capitalized with double caps throughout the document. Here's how to remove the caps before you translate the document into braille: 1. Go to the forward translation menu. 2. Go through the list until you come to "include capital signs." The default is yes so change it to no. 3. Translate your text document into braille. You will se no capital signs throughout the document. Now, suppose there is only a section of the document which has double caps. You could search for two dot 6's and replace them with nothing. If you want to get rid of single capital signs in a few words, place the cursor on the dot 6 and use the delete character command. If you simply want a capital sign to appear before a word instead of the double cap signs, you could search for two dot 6's and replace them with one dot 6. I wasn't sure just what you had in mind, so I've tried to cover all the possibilities I could think of. Terri Pannett, Amateur Radio call sign KF^CA.
