Hi Everyone,

I've got two problems I hope you'll help me solve.

First, I need to input fractions into the BrlNote scientific calculator but
can't seem to get it to believe that I really want to. I looked in the manual
but couldn't find anything that helped. I would greatly appreciate it if
someone could let me know what I'm doing wrong. I know the calculator is
working correctly because I was able to do parenthesis, powers, division and
multiplication all in the same problem and come up with the correct answer.

Secondly, I turned the BrlNote on today and the brailled display read "battery
low." When I went into the options menu I was told the battery was at 72
percent. Ten minutes later, I double checked and was told that the battery was
at 61 percent. Not being willing to risk losing everything, I plugged the
charger in. Ten minutes later, just for the fun of it, I checked the battery
percentage - it was down to 31 percent. I double checked and the display said
that the charger was on. The unit was sent in for an upgrade, cleaning and new
battery over Christmas. Any ideas? Should I just run it down and recalibrate
the gage?

By the way, I'm using a BrlNote with a 32 cell braille display which just got
upgraded to 5.0. I am also pretty good with Nemeth but lousy with technology.

Thanks for any help you can offer,

Sandra
