Hi Richard,
On 22 Apr 2004 at 9:13, Richard Ehrler spoke, thus:

To succinctly answer your question: BrailleNote always generates files
with CR/LF pairs. However, it doesn't appear to care when importing files
whether CR, LF or CR/LF is used - it treats each such sequence simply as a
"New line" character. However, I advise you test this for yourself.
Though documentation and my hurried tests suggests no problem with any
variation, meaning you do not need to preprocess the input files, I
suggest you open the file for reading in line mode so that you can plainly
see if the files have correctly placed newlines. If they have only gliffs
or unknown characters or lines seem to stretch into infinity, then it
hasn't worked. However, as I say, my tests for the LF only used by UNIX
seem positive.
Cheers,
