Hi Roselle and list:

Yes, most of the time I have found this to be the case. Although,
sometimes, depending I guess on what is contained within the Word 2002
document, you can get other random errors as well. I just can't bring them
to mind right now.

Glad the reset solved the problem this time though.

> Hey, no problem Sharon. From my experience, the message "DLL class not
found" that you get upon opening a file means you just need to reset the
unit so that it'll find the right DLL file it needs for opening it. Or
something like that.
> However, the problem Dean Jackson said in his reply to your post is also
real: that the BN cannot open Word 2002 files created in XP. But the error
message you'll get in that case is explicit and unmistakable: "Pocket Word
Converter: The file converter found that the input file is not a valid
6.0/95/97 Word document". That's right, although note that it does open
Word 2000 files.

it. The documents are word 2000 docs. I had opened one a week or so ago I
thought. Don't know what happened. It works now though.
