I'm glad I'm not the only one having problems with the card and slot on the
back of the unit. I always manage to get cards in and out, but I'm so
afraid I'm going to break the BN if I pull too hard. I usually just put a
cf card in the adapter and use the side slot, just because it's easier.

For the card or disk drive which goes into the slot on the right-hand side
of the bn, when you put it in all the way, you will notice that a small
button pops out
just behind the card, toward the rear of the bn. When you want to remove
that card, just press that small button and the card should pop out.
For the one on the back, it can be sometimes hard to get it fully into the
slot and also hard to get it back out again as there is no button release
for that one
and you just have to work it back out of the slot with your fingers. Many
cards will slide in and out with relative ease, but some can be difficult
to get seated
correctly and even more difficult to get back out again.

Silly but there its.
We just put our first two books on the braillenote using the disk drive
which was very exciting.
The card that goes in the slot on the side of the braillenote is in there
good and solid and don't want to just pull it out.
Unless of course, you're supposed to pull it out.
These questions have confounded philosophers through the ages.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
