Bob/John

Thanks for your suggestions. The problem I had, however, was as someone
else suggested, I'm getting the product piecemeal or, in other words, it was
a botched sales/despatch process. I had absolutely no documentation, the
relevant directories hadn't even been set up on the flash card and, to boot,
after ringing Pulsedata EKurope, I also discovered I was supposed to get a
CD as well as the card with everything on it which, of course, I didn't.

Thanks to the very kind help from Don Bishop, I did, however, get all the
documentation last night in advance of me phoning PDE today.

>From what others have said on this list from the States, it seems that PDE
is not the only flaky dealership and, at least, they didn't extort the money
from me months in advance of non-delivery!

Regards

Richard Bartholomew

Hello Richard
If you are stuck give me a ring
I am going to a chess tournament at eleven this morning though but to
install first hold down dots one two and three and do a reset then install
the software.
the mannual should be in your mannual folder or on your flash card
somewhere.
you should have a maps directory on the flash card and a poi directory on
the flash card as well. your .pbi files maybe are best put in the poi
directory and in the gps options menu check where the gps is looking for
the pbi files then you should have your comercial points of interest.
trouble is in the uk loads of them are gas stations. if you are real stuck
then ring as soon as you can
tel 0113--2826420
bye for now. just getting my chess board.
