OK, I'm a bit confused, Paul. Do you or do you not have a BrailleNote? Anyway, to answer your question:
Press BACKSPACE with F (CTRL with F. Type F to search forward or B for back. Enter two new line markers as the search string by pressing SPACE with dots 2-6 (CTRL with ENTER) twice. Hit ENTER. Type a single new line marker (SPACE with dots 2-6 or CTRL with ENTER once) as the replacement string. Hit ENTER. This is the right way to do it, because you cannot just tell the BN to replace the second new line marker with nothing, and ignore the first one in the pair. However, in cases where you really want to replace something with nothing, you can do this in version 5 by pressing SPACE with dots 3-5-6 (CTRL with BACKSPACE) at the prompt asking for the replacement string. BTW, this is an undocumented command for the Find, and Search & Replace facilities. In v4.1 and earlier versions, you would have to reset the unit first just to clear out both the search and replacement prompts. Yuck! Goes to show how handy is this undocumented command.
