Peggy, I'm replying on list, even if this is off-topic, because you've posted the MA2 press release and I'm aware that others on this list are also interested in this software. Mobile Accessibility (and now Talks also) works on Series 60 phones. The Nokia 6800, looking at its specs on the Nokia website, is not a Series 60 phone.
Also, Talks is still a better software to use with cell phones, if only for the quality of the speech, but also with other functions. Talks for Series 60 now works on the Nokia 3650/3600, 3660/3620, 6600, N-Gage, and Siemens SX1 (pending for release). Next year, Samsung, Sendo and others will also release Series 60 phones and Talks will likewise work on them. The Nokia 3660/3620 (the model depends on where you live) is just like the 3650/3600 except that the keypad is no longer that confusing circular layout which many (blind and sighted) have found ridiculous. But according to someone (also blind) from the Talks people, the best model for use of the blind with Talks is the Nokia 6600. I'm trading in my Sony Ericsson P800 for that one. Sorry to the list moderators for the off-topic post. Still HTH, Roselle >----- QUOTED MESSAGE ----- >Sent by: Peggy Kern <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >>Thought this might be of interest.
