How long do you have the bn on during the day?
Do you have accessories like a flash card or disk drive connected to the bn?
These will also drain the battery a little faster, though it's still not bad.
I'll tell you what really drains it quick though.
Go online for a while with two accessories in your bn!
Whooo! Let me tell you! That'll really make it go down!
I sometimes use that method to get it low enough so I don't have to tie up my 
bn with the "battery is flat" or "exercise the braille display" thing for a 
long time.
I use my bn a lot and for long periods, so I prefer to charge it overnight, so 
it's ready for me during the day.
Therefore, when I feel I should recallibrate the battery guige, I run it as 
hard as I can until I get the "battery is critical" message, and when the 
percentage reaches about 1 or 0 percent, I do the "battery is going flat" 
thing, and now that I know about it, I'll probably do the exercise thing.
