Jonathan, I have an average of 2-3 appointments per week in the planner. I
often use the alarm and have never had any problems with it but I have never
been out in public when it goes off. I use the daily planner a lot for to-do
things plus diary information and reminders to myself. I have never had to
deal with a corrupted file so am optimistic in using this function but I do
back up every two to three months. I haven't erased partly through laziness
and partly as I want to be able to refer to some of the material later. I
agree with the others that being able to schedule recurring appointments
would be very helpful. Jill
