No, this won't work. Note, however, that you can play certain .wav files on the BrailleNote. The restrictions are as follows:
Audio format should be PCM. Audio sample size is no more than 16 bit. Audio sample rate should be no more than 44,100 HZ. It doesn't matter if it's mono or stereo, but of course when played on the BN, it comes out like mono because of the sound chip. I have not found any limit for the bit rate yet. And here's the killer... File size should be no more than half of the remaining space of your Keysoft Systems Disk, which in ideal situations, would mean a file size of no more than 3.5 MB, give or take. How do you play it? Copy the .wav file to the Windows folder of the Keysoft Systems Disk. This is the only place where you can play .wav files. Well, if you have a copy on your storage card, or Flash Disk, you can play it there, given that there's also a copy in the Keysoft Systems Disk. >From the Main Menu, press F to enter the File Manager, then press D to select >the Directory option. Select the Keysoft Systems Disk as the drive and >Windows as the folder. Press SPACE with X (READ with X) to have all, including hidden, files showing. Navigate to the .wav file you wish to play and hit ENTER. Yes, you play it while in the Directory option of the File Manager. Note that unlike in the Media Player, you cannot increase the volume or pause it; in fact, once it's playing, you also cannot stop or exit it. Just wait for it to finish which, given the allowable file size, will not take long, <smirk>. Is this useful? Yes, in some instances. For instance, I have received and listened to voice mail like that thing with AOL users where they can send audio mail by phone using this undocumented and unsupported feature. Notice that you also have other .wav files (sound schemes) in the Windows folder of the Keysoft Systems Disk that you can listen to. So this feature can also offer some pastime if you have nothing better to do.
