Hi, Roger. Actually, you can upgrade your pda from a computer. They don't
usually have rom upgrades, but you can upgrade the operating system and
other files. My wife has a nomad zen from creative labs. The can upgrade
the drivers as well as its operating system and rom via computer.
Don't know about other devices.
