Nancy, you simply add another service and call it something like e-mail
while traveling.
You put their national access number where it asks you for the phone number
and where it asks for what type of modem, if you use a cell phone, arrow to
where it says hayes compatable modem on com 1 if you have a cable lincage or
hayes compatable using infra red if your cell phone has an ir port.
It is very simple actually.
I have the typewriter style keyboard so I don't have to mess around with
computer braille but try that and a hint.
You probably won't be able to test your findings if your provider is like
mine because if you have a local access number then you won't be able to use
the national access number until you get where you are going.
Now, I don't know a whole lot about using a network card but you might do
well in reading the chapter on e-mail for this because it does do a nice job
in covering each topic.
Another thing, go intoadd a service, take your perkins out and copy each
item down. Then you will have a hard copy and can go relatively quickly
through the list of items you need to do and tuck that sheet into your
suitcase, it may come in handy on the road too.
A bit wordy, perhaps, but hopefully this'll get you in the right dirrection.

Subject: [Braillenote] Add A SERVICE

> Hi. I have a question. I've obviously put my info in the Add A Services
part of the MENU. If I'm going out of town, do I do another Add a Services
and fill everything out the same way with a different access number,
obviously. Do I put a #in and a regular comma before the number? I have all
the numbers upper-case in my original entry. The book said computer
Braille, but tech support said upper-case, and they were correct. How will
this be distinguished from my original address? I've never done this before,
and tech support said I had to figure this out myself. Will it say which
number do I want to call, or what? I want this to go smoothly. Thanks for
any help you can give me.
