Hi Lisa, The Grade 2 indicator goes before your answers, but it doesn't matter whether you do a space before or after you switch into Grade 2 as this isn't a symbol that pertains to a particular grade. You don't put the Grade 2 indicator again after your answers; you should see a Computer Braille indicator after you've finished typing your Grade 2 info, as the Original Message is in Computer Braille, so this indicator will appear to let you know that the rest of your message is in a different grade than from what you're typing. No, you can't just insert the format indicators in the appropriate places of your Computer Braille messages; the stuff which will be in Grade 2 is only that which is in between the Grade indicators, and if you attempt to just put the Grade 2 indicators before your Computer Braille answers, you will see a Grade 2 indicator immediately followed by a Computer Braille indicator because your answers will stay in Computer Braille, and as you haven't actually typed anything in Grade 2 after the Grade 2 indicator, nothing would actually appear in Grade 2 if you did this. In other words, the info you input in the Original Message is in Computer Braille unless you switch grades and then type. HTH. Maria
