Hi Todd,

Hotmail will not work with the BrailleNote. It uses a proprietary HTTP
interface, even for email clients. Microsoft, as a typical demonstration
of their love for crushing competition and neglecting the golden rules of
the internet, is tying Hotmail users to programs which support their non-
standard protocol; namely, Outlook and company. You might try their web
interface; when you visit hotmail.com you'll get the pocket site, and this
may well do with KeyWeb. What with all the script and passport cookies
and what not used, I can't say I hold much hope out. You'll need to ask
another's opinion on Hotmail's web-based interface. You won't get KeyMail
to work with it, though - that's certain.

Yes. There are many more email providers for worldwide use than simply
Hotmail - by far, it is (sadly) the most well known, but it is not the
only one. The comprehensive reference for information about such services
is:

As a service to folk in need, I am willing to let you have an account on
my own mail transport (a selection of five domains to pick from);
mailboxes and/or SMTP authentication provided. Of course, there's no
advertising - actually, there's a good deal less of it than you might be
used to, what with my heavy hand their to deal with any spam you might
receive. You may contact me if you find you cannot get satisfaction in
other services.

Cheers,
Sabahattin
