teri, no, the printer feature allows the bn to beam to the printer, but a true 
beaming feature would let there be two-way communication between other devices, 
such as another bn or a pda or a pc.  You can communicate through activesync to 
a pc using the infrared, and I understand that with ks 5 you can connect to the 
web or to email using a cellphone, but you can't as yet communicate with, for 
example, another bn or another pda.
I'll tell you something interesting, my wife's pda recognizes my brlnote if I 
activesync with it using infrared, but the bn doesn't recognize her pda, and so 
after a minute of just sitting there, the connection drops.
