You must switch to Keyplus, type the calculation there and hit ENTER, switch back to your document in Keyword, and use the Insert Calculation option (CTRL with 5 for QT, or ENTER with I for BT, then C, and R for just the result or C for the whole calculation including answer). I'm not sure though if what you're just asking is a way to switch from the document to the calculator without having to exit the file. If so, then this can be done easily. While within the document, without exiting it that is, press FUNCTION with 5 (ENTER with BACKSPACE with S) and you will be in the calculator where you can type your calculation and obtain the answer. When you're done, you do not have to exit Keyplus just to go back to your document. Press FUNCTION with 4 (ENTER with BACKSPACE with W) and you'll be back in the document, without having to go through the prompts for the drive, folder and file name. HTH (oh and the command to silence speech during the Continuous Reading Mode is READ with SPACE, not the convenient JAWS command of hitting the CTRL key), Roselle >----- QUOTED MESSAGE ----- >Sent by: Jenine Stanley <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >I'll first explain what I'm working on and then maybe someone can tell me how >to better accomplish it with the BN. >I am writing up a narrative budget for an organization and have loaded the >figures into the BN so I can work on it while in transit, etc. I have >notations of which figures go with which budget categories in keyword files. >Periodically I need to make some calculations as I add figures.
