Hi Brenda, without knowing what characters caused the unit to trip up,
it's difficult to give you further advice. If there was a stream of italic
characters, we know about that one and have it on the list to address.
We'll probably have to wait for someone with a Braille display to take a
look or who can load it into another device and tell us what the
characters were. Do you still have the file in question?

Just for future reference, the BrailleNote and VoiceNote, while being
fairly similar, are in fact different products, so it's important if
you're seeking technical support to let people know that it's a VoiceNote
you have rather than a BrailleNote.

Re: [Braillenote] Interesting bookshare situation with Braille Note:

John,

Perhaps we're a little more liberal in the U.s. I couldn't afford the
braille display, but I wanted the unit that could talk and read. The one
I chose has a braille keyboard, and it follows braillenote comands. I
think of it as a Braille note, because I'm either writing in grade one or
two braille, depending on what I want. You still haven't addressed my
question. Did I do something wrong with that book, or was there a
problem? I'm not complaining, just asking Near the back is braille. It
says "Pulsedata. It's put on backwardds for a braille reader. I guess
your company has print under there so that someone walking up can see
Pulsedata. That's okay. Now on the back of the machine there's a numbar.
It's 16143. Now I suppose you can track down the machine and know what I
have. What's the answer to my question about the book? Braille note,
voice note, they're the same unit, without the attachable braille display.
 That's what I think.
