Hmmmm...

That looks like a bit of a contortion.

PDI: isn't there a better way? Could this one be looked in to to make things
a bit more convenient?

Subject: re: [Braillenote] Switching To Another account in .same Server

Hey, I can do this, since I have two accounts from MyRealBox (oh please
don't ask why, LOL). When You're done checking mail on one account, type Y
for yes when asked to remain connected. You will be returned to the Keymail
Menu.
Press S, then D and L. Type the first letter or two of the service record
name, and hit ENTER. Press E to jump to the Email username field, press
BACKSPACE with C (CTRL with I), then SPACE with dots 3-5-6 (CTRL with
BACKSPACE). Type your other account's user name.
If you're using a different password for that account (which I recommend to
be the same as the first account's password to save you the trouble of
retyping), press ENTER and clear the field once more with SPACE with dots
3-5-6 (CTRL with BACKSPACE). When you're done, or if you didn't have to
retype the password and had finished typing the new user name, press SPACE
with dots 2-6 (CTRL with ENTER). Press SPACE with E (ESCAPE) three times,
then C to check your mail in that account.

Yeah, yeah, I hear you, it sounds so tedious, but trust me, when you get the
hang of it, especially since you can type the keystrokes (for both commands
and field entries) without waiting for the BN speech or display to respond
accordingly (because it takes time to respond sometimes after you choose to
remain connected), then it'll execute the commands and changes to the field
entries in a jiffy once it responds. From personal experience, this method
is faster than disconnecting, redialing and reconnecting.
In fact, if I'm going to use just one server, I no longer disconnect but
check my mail on all my 8 accounts, with different POP servers, mind you,
using the above method. Sometimes, since the user name and password are the
same on two different servers, I just change the POP server address
(pressing P, instead of E, once I'm on the service record). Further, I have
named my Directory of Services records with names that start with different
numbers, so I just have to type 1, 2, or 3...
Note that I do this because sometimes, the lines are busy and so
disconnecting just to reconnect to the same ISP is not a good idea.

HTH,
Roselle
