Just to add my 2 pennies to the mix... <grin> I prefer the new case very much. Many of the things that have been indicated as problems I like very much, the rain issue not withstanding.
The only problem that I have personally run across is the fact that part of the strap holding the BN in the case covers up most of the infrared port. This makes using it with the cell phone more difficult and has occasionally made me want to take a knife to the thing to remedy the situation. Maybe this is not an issue with the bt but it is certainly one with the qt. ______________________________ J. R. But it's very difficult to take the BN out of it and put it back in. The case doesn't cover the BN completely, so when it's pouring down rain and you want to take it with you, you must put it in something else to protect it from the rain. The straps of the case are so big I can't adjust them to be small enough. I have at least three different cases which PDI has put out for the BN and VN. None of them are completely satisfactory, but I prefer the old-fashioned bag type case. I prefer to use the BN out of the case and the bag is the easiest thing to use for traveling. I also like the extra storage space. There are times I would like to be able to use the BN while standing, but manhandling it into the case it came in is quite inconvenient and the straps would cause it to come down passed my waist which would be an inconvenient position for writing. Also, the flaps keep closing, making it annoying to use inside the case. The case my old BN came with only has a hook to hold the BN, and I wouldn't want to put my trust in it. I don't have a solution for case that would suit everyone's needs, but this new case, the wrap-around one, is a definite disappointment to me because it's a bear to use!
