You'll get no argument from me! I agree!!! you wrote:
It just goes to show what I've been saying all along update!! update!! update!!! pdi, the world just is not standing still while you struggle with an outdated system. Come on guys, update your windows everything and speed up your processor, add more memory and fix bugs in Keysoft. If Keysoft can't do what people want, they will go with something that will. I would rather have a bn that could do all the things the pacmate can do, however it would do it, with keysoft or pocket pc, doesn't matter, than try to get funding to get a Pacmate. An update to the bn would be cheaper, and with the way the whole budget thing is now, who knows? But I fear the bn is getting left behind. Here we have a person who uses the bn in school, who got it because she felt at the time it was the best thing around for her, and now, one of the major uses to which she could put it is not available because of an outdated version of outlook that she can't fix. Some of these issues have been around for a long time, and still remain. Why? The world moves on, and if we wish to continue using a product like the bn, which many of us do, then Pdi needs to speed up things to make it possible for us to do so in the real world out there, where guis are used and programs get updated. If Keysoft can't accomodate new things, like updated Windows and Outlook and, for many people, wireless and even a development kit so people can run other programs which they want or need, which by the way, you can do on a regular pda, then perhaps we need to either renovate Keysoft or use a different suite. I hope we will see in future updates, and not a long way off either, an ability to use common programs that already work on pdas and an updated outlook and, oh yes, we should have a link between Keymail and Keyweb, so that we can click on links when they appear. I think that's pretty standard nowadays.
