Yes, you can play the MP3 right from the CompactFlash card.  When you enter the 
Media Player, select the CompactFlash drive instead of the Flash Disk.  Select 
a folder and file on the CompactFlash card, and it should start playing.  You 
repeat the same procedure every time you want to play a file from the CF.  HTH.
