Hi, Lisa. I also am locked into a two yera contract. I went with verizon as they offer their visually impaired customers free 4 1 1 access. I can't see why PDI doesn't try to work with verizon to solve this problem. It isn't as if verizon is some fly by night company with little circulation. What really ticked me off is that when a verizon rep called someone at pulse data or numanware, they just brushed him off stating that it was possible. They told him to tell me to just set the serial port as a serial port rather than a hayze compatible. I don't really think it would take too much for someone at PDI to work with verizon to make things right. Until then, I just lost 70 dollars on a cable I will never use because I can't get PDI humanware to work with me and the folks at Verizon. And, yes. I hae talked to tech support. They don't know much about using a cell phone with a bn.

Hi Paul, I'm hoping that some one will come up with and idea for this phone.
I am locked into a two year contract with verizon and I'm willing to by
another phone if that's what I need to do. I spend a lot of time traveling
in the car and if I can't use my cell phone to check mail the bn is going
to have to be put away and I guess I'll be looking at a laptop or something
else... I'll tell you what though it frustrates me that I can't find a
simple adaptor for this phone!
take care
Lisa
