Hi, Tom. I'd like to see that myself. Even if we had to open a compartment after taking the thing out of the case, I'd go for that. Now that the pacmate is out with their detachable braille display, it will be interesting to see how slowly or quickly their battery drains. One person I talked to who tried the packmate for a few days thought they had a much slower battery drain. I guess their initial attempt at removable batteries didn't work too well since they dropped it for the new unit. That was the one thing that impressed me when I first heard about the packmate and disappointed me when the new one was talked about.
