Hi again Maria,

I usually go into a book first and save it to a file. I then do a Z with spacebar which takes me out of the book and I see my last link I was in. This is where I point the cursor to one, use the overwrite command, type in the two which replaces the one, then hit enter. This brings me to that volume. I then save that to a file, exit the book, my last volume two link is showing, I point the cursor to the two, use the overwrite command, type in the three, press enter which places me into the new volume which I save to a file. I keep doing this till I download all the book. I believe the editing is done in Keyweb, and one isn't trying to edit on a web site.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the clarification. One more thing though. Are you saying you use it in KeyWeb? Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, so let me go through an example of what I mean. When I search through the online catalog, the results page that pops up is the one whose title starts with "Voyager" and then continues to include your search strings and a bunch of numbers and stuff that I don't really pay attention to. Anyway, on that page are the search results. Are you saying that you put the cursor on the actual link, execute the Overwrite command, and then inputting the correct number takes you to the link for the next volume on the actual Web page? Or do you mean that once you've downloaded Volume 1, you do ENTER with O, and then do the Overwrite command on the actual URL address? When you're on a Web page, and you hit a letter or number in KeyWeb while you're not in a text input field, this takes you to the next link that starts with that letter. The links for the volumes of books start with an h for http, so if you hit the number "2" for Volume 2, you wouldn't be taken anywhere, and you'd just receive an Error Alert Tone because there wasn't a link that started with the number 2. Also, you can't exactly edit the Web page because someone else created it, and you're not opening it in a place like KeyWord where editing is possible. I suppose you could save the page as an HTML file, then open that HTML file, and somehow, amid all the "less-than", "greater-than", "font style", "color style", and all the other junk that appears in those files when you don't open them in a Web browser, you could edit the link. However, it still wouldn't work because the file would go back to its default, as it was saved in the way that someone else created it, and as you didn't design the site, the only person that could actually edit it was the designer who was working at the "other end", if you know what I mean. Also, the Web page would have other components that you hadn't saved in the HTML file. Even if you attempt to do the Overwrite command while your cursor is on an actual link of a Web page, you'd just get the Error tone because you can't edit links; what I mean by a link is that text between the dots 2-4-6 and dots 1-3-5 symbols that signify a link on the Braille display in KeyWeb when you're actually on a Web page. That's why I'm thinking you do ENTER with O and then edit that address. You mentioned that it beats typing in the whole link, which further convinces me that this is what you might be doing, and if it is, I totally agree with you; I would hate to have to type in the whole link. Also, it's a faster way than to Go Back with ENTER with B, and then select the appropriate link from the web page with the "Voyager" title. It makes sense that it's available in KeyWord and KeyBook because you can edit documents and prompts. Also, I think the Overwrite command is equivalent to the BACKSPACE with dots 3-6 command, but please correct me if I'm wrong. I never quite got the hang of the Blazie products, so I'm sure that by nMaria
