Hi, all and Lisa, I sure hope that problem with dot 5 gets straight. I have had a Power Braille 40, a Freedom Scientific product and I have never had a problem, it has been used in my work as a medical transcriptionist for at least 10 years. Cells are not replaceable in any display currently available, including the PK. The article you cited sounds interesting, I don't know how practical. Good luck! Beth
