Hello Stacey: You can unzip, or to use their term, "Unpack" books from bookshare on the BrailleNote family of products. However, to the best of my knowledge, you can't unzip regular .zip files. These should be unzipped on your PC or laptop prior to transferring them to the BrailleNote.
