The Braillenote will always lag behind the state of the art as regards
functional access because of the closed architecture which requires that
specialized aps be written from the ground up.  Kind of like the state of
affairs with the Apple 2E and with PC's before screen readers were
developed.  I think that PDI's philosophy may have served well in the past,
but people are expecting more and more from these devices, and continuing to
reinvent the wheel is counterproductive unless you have unlimited resources.
