Actually, a title page is usually made by centering all the lines, and
by distributing the lines over the whole page.
I think if I were thee, I would format the title page on the computer
in MSword, and append the rest of the file to it, making sure the page
numbering omitted the first page.
You want the title, the author, prof and so on probably the date,
check ALA format or APA format for advice on particulars. Which
format you using for your references?
