No, this is not possible.  And, it can be frustrating.

Pardon me folks.
I'm reposting this on the off chance I've missed the answers.
One problem my wife has found in keying information very quickly on the
Braille note.
That problem is if one hits a chord by accident, one winds up out of the
document and has to find one's way back.
Is there a way to temporarily disable the chording function?
