After doing a global replace, is it possible to find out how many replacements occurred? If so, how? If not, would anyone else find this a useful addition to Keysoft?

I often clean up or re-format files by using find and replace. In Megadots, a program which announces the number of replacements which have occurred in such an operation, I find the number extremely useful, especially where a number is so large or small that it tells me things did not work out as I had hoped. Of course, when I have entered the search and replace strings correctly, and the number of replacements is large, I get that feeling of satisfaction which comes from having accomplished a lot with relatively little work: something about working smarter rather than working harder. <smile>
