I've never seen any zipped files. You have to extract files on your pc
before they go on your card. Forinstance, I received a seventeen megabyte
file. It was a self-extracting file. It had to be done on a pc in a
special directory then loaded on to the cf card. then and only then could
I use it. so you see? You do need the pc for some things. <smile>
