Aloha folks! Just back from Hawaii and while there I had several issues come up with the Braille Note. 1. The translation from Grade 1 or uncontracted Braille to Grade 2 or Contracted Braille completely stopped. I have been having a problem with this since May and it only happens in certain documents. 2. The clock while set to 12 hour or American Time kept registering in 24 or European time. I can send this back if need be now that vacation is over but if I don't have to, how do I fix these 2 problems? Any help from list members or Pdi staff would be greatly appreciated. Interestingly when I came back to Eastern Standard time these anomolies disappeared and the translator got switched back on. So if you are in say Pacific Central time will the translator shut off because of the clock? Very strange the whole thing, indeed!
