Dear Sherry, Did you say Duxbury wouldn't open the files, either? No, Duxbury should indeed open the files.
Open the Duxbury program. press control o. Type the path and filename of the book you want to open: for example, c:\my documents\booknamev01.brf. DBT will prompt you for the type of template. Use a template which shows no page numbers. Press enter. DBT should open the files for you. If you want, you can check that DBT has recognized the files as formatted braille before you press the enter key. I've had my share of frustrations downloading web braille, too, but once you learn how, it's a snap. One more thing. I never use the my documents folder.
