Not easily, you would need Acrobat Reader version 6.1 or higher, and of
course you'd need a PC that can go online in order to download the
software.
Realistically, you can't translate the PDF files into text unless you
either have Acrobat Reader or access to the internet.

Subject: [Braillenote] PDF files

Hi again! I just downloaded the information on libraries but all the
info in PDF. How can I read it from the BN? My PC is not currently able
to use the net, sece it's new and does not yet have a modem. Is there
any way to translate PDF files into text?

Thanks.

Michele
