You will need to download your BrailleLite files on to a floppy disk.
If won't necessarily matter whether you do it in a text or a braille format.
If you have a Diskdrive that comes with the BN, you can download very
easily. Otherwise, you'll need to probably connect your BN to the computer.
After that, you can export them to whatever format you need.
You can check your compact flash card the same way you would check
files on any other drive. I'm not sure I understood that part of the
question correctly. From the Main Menu, press W, then O. You will be
prompted "drive"? You can either press the SPACEBAR, or press the first
letter of the drive. If you have the CF card in the side, it becomes a
storage card, whereas if it is in the back, it becomes "compact flash".
Then, you can see what is on the card, just like you would on flash, or
keysoft. HTH
